I took a break from writing and posting on social media for much of 2017-2018, but finally hit a point where I truly missed personal publishing. I missed the challenge and reward of building a meaningful online presence.

The upside? A year+ of radio silence leaves one with more than a few fresh stories to tell. A lot has changed, and a lot more is on the horizon.

Returning to this blank slate I'm reminded how much self-imposed editing ridiculousness can happen before pressing the "publish" button. Toiling over phrasing endlessly. Ensuring the message is clear and serves its goal. Avoiding sounding like an idiot. All important things, but they should never get in the way of actually getting something out there.

Publish-driven-anxieties or no, the freedom of the empty page feels more invigorating than ever. I'm feeling inspired and compelled to fill this void again. πŸ™‚

So the rest of 2019 has a new rule: write more, think less. Press publish and move forward. "Deploy those two pennies" as Gary Vaynerchuck likes to say.

Let's get to it. πŸ‘‰πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘‰
